The listening player sits under the document, behind the 🎧 handle in its bottom left corner: click the handle to open or shut it. It opens by itself when the document already has a track. Use Add tracks… in its chooser, or drop audio files (mp3, m4a or wav) on the window, to attach tracks to the open document; the chooser on the left switches between them and drag reorders them. Drag across the waveform to pick a phrase, then press Space to play just that; drag inside the selection to slide it, its edges to trim it, or click to set where playback starts. Tracks are kept in this browser only, never written into what you export, and are taken off a file in Settings → Storage.

Annotations are kept in this browser automatically. Export writes every page of the document as one file, as a PDF or as an image, with the annotations drawn in so other apps show them. Asked to include the original files, it keeps them inside, and opening that file in 4em gives back the document with its annotations editable again.
